The socket welding flange forms a connection by inserting the pipe end into the flange ring step and welding the pipe end and outside. There are two main types of this kind of flange: with neck and without neck. Among them, the flange with neck has better rigidity and sealing performance, and is suitable for occasions where the pressure is 1.0~10.0MPa. Socket flanges are particularly suitable for small diameter pipes, especially pipes with a diameter less than or equal to DN40. Monel 400 alloy (UNS N04400 or MCu-28-1.5-1.8 or Ni68Cu28Fe) is a nickel-based alloy material with good corrosion resistance in seawater, chemical solvents, ammonia, sulfur, chlorine, hydrogen chloride, various acidic media such as sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid, hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid, organic acids, alkaline media, salt and molten salt. Monel 400 is mainly used in the fields of chemistry, petrochemical industry and marine development. It can be used to manufacture various heat exchange equipment, boiler feed water heaters, petroleum and chemical pipelines, containers, towers, tanks, valves, pumps, reactors, shafts, etc.
