ALLOY B2 is a corrosionresistant, solidsolution NiMo alloy.The extremely low carbon and silicon content of Alloy B2 reduces precipitation of carbides and other phases in the heataffected zone of welds and ensures adequate corrosion resistance even in the welded condition. Alloy B2 exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in aggressive reducing media such as hydrochloric acid in a wide range of temperatures and concentrations, as well as in mediumconcentrated sulphuric acid even with limited chloride contamination. It can also be used in acetic and phosphoric acids. Optimum corrosion resistance can be obtained only if the material is in the correct metallurgical condition and exibits a clean structure.ALLOY B2 is used in a wide range of applications in the chemical process industry, especially for processes involving sulphuric, hydrochloric, phosphoric and acetic acid.

A swaged pipe nipple, also called swage fitting or reduced nipple, is one that allows reductions to be made by taking the flow from one pipe diameter to a different one and they can be concentric or eccentric depending on the type of connection to be made.Eccentric Swage Nipple has one end larger in diameter than the other, making it ideal for applications where a reduction in pipe size is needed without changing the overall length of the pipe. In contrast, a Concentric Swage Nipple has both ends with the same diameter, maintaining a constant size throughout the length of the swage. This type is suitable when a reduction in size is required, and the overall length is not a critical factor.
