S32760 Introduction
Stainless steel grade F55 has excellent corrosion resistance to a wide range of areas, especially resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in seawater and other chloride containing environments, with critical pitting temperature that is more than 50°C (122°F). This material is known to also have high strength and extended lifecycle. It is 10% lighter than grade 316 steel, ideal
for sub-zero service, and more cost effective than nickel alloys. Stainless steel grade F55 can be easily machined and welded.
BW Reducer Introduction
The pipe fittings used to connect two pipes with different diameters or different cross-sectional areas are called reducers. Therefore, reducers are also called "reducers of size". Reducers can be classified into circular reducers, rectangular reducers, square reducers and rectangular connected pipes with a twisting direction, which are divided according to the shape of the pipe fittings. According to the different diameters at both ends of the pipes, pipes with different diameters are divided into reduced diameter and eccentric reduced diameter. (Circular reducers and square reducers are prone to concentric and eccentric diameters, while rectangular reducers only cause unilateral skew and bilateral skew.)Production method
(1) Generally, the roundness of the pipes of different diameters in an adapter pipe should not exceed one percent of the outer diameter of the corresponding end. The allowable upper and lower deviation is 3mm. The manufacturing method of the adapter pipe is selected based on the user's requirements and national standards. (2) Reduction forming, expansion pressing or reduction and expansion forming are the forming processes for different-sized pipes. Expansion pressing or reduction and expansion forming can also be used for pipes of different diameters of certain specifications. Additionally, stamping can be employed for pipes of different diameters of certain specifications. (3) The manufacturing process of different-sized pipes is similar. The same forming method is used for all of them. Before their formation, it is necessary to conduct inspections on the received materials, marking, and aspects of biting and folding.
Others
1.Size Head Reducer The "dual-ended pipe" is also known as an "anastomosis pipe reducer". Depending on the shape, it is divided into two types: the concentric dual-ended pipe reducer and the eccentric dual-ended pipe reducer. It is generally used for changing the pipe diameter of a larger size and is connected by butt welding. 2. Different Diameter Short Joint (Swage Nipple) The reducer is used on small-diameter pipes with diameters less than DN50. In principle, only concentric reducers are used. Welding or external thread connection methods can be adopted. 3. Reducing Coupling The adapter pipe clamp is used for small pipe diameters less than DN40. It can also be used in places where straight adapter sections cannot be used. It can be connected by either end-joining or internal thread methods. 4. Half Coupling The half-joint is used for small pipes less than 1.5 inches in diameter, to extend the branch pipe. When the branch pipe is connected to the main pipe, it is enlarged through the half-joint, which is convenient for welding. Then the other end is connected to the branch pipe, which can be either socket welding or threaded connection. Its main function is to connect small branch pipes to large main pipes, serving as a reinforcement. When the branch pipe is smaller than 1.5 inches, a half-joint is commonly used. For pipes larger than 1.5 inches, a reducer three-way connection is required.
