Lap joint stub end is a fitting that is used replace welded flanges when the support of a rotating back up flange is required. And it can be supplied in standard and non-standard ANSI dimension that is used for connecting pipes of different diameter.
Key Features and Functions *Easy Disassembly: Because the flange can rotate, disassembling the pipeline for inspection or maintenance is much easier, eliminating the need for secondary welding or cutting as with weld neck flanges.

Monel 400 Introduction
Monel 400 alloy (UNS N04400/MCu-28-1.5-1.8/Ni68Cu28Fe) is a nickel-based alloy, primarily composed of nickel-copper alloy, with a melting point of 1300-1350°C. It exhibits good corrosion resistance in corrosive media such as seawater, hydrofluoric acid, and sulfuric acid. This alloy demonstrates stable mechanical properties and is suitable for working environments ranging from low to high temperatures. Welding can be performed using TIG, MIG, and manual arc welding, matched with Monel body material or EniCu-7 welding consumables. This alloy is mainly used in the manufacture of heat exchange equipment, chemical pipelines, reaction vessels, and other devices, conforming to standards including ASTM B 164 (bars) and ASTM B 127 (plates). During machining,shrinkage allowance must be allowed to ensure dimensional accuracy. 1. Raw Material Preparation: Select qualified seamless steel pipe, verify material grade, specification and mechanical properties.
2. Cutting & Blanking: Cut steel pipe into fixed-length blanks by CNC cutting machine, ensure dimensional accuracy.

6. Trimming & Deburring: Remove burrs and redundant materials from flanged ends, smooth edges.
7. Heat Treatment: Conduct quenching & tempering to improve hardness and eliminate internal stress.
8. Precision Machining: Machine flange

9. Surface Treatment: Perform pickling, passivation or anti-rust coating to enhance corrosion resistance.
10. Quality Inspection: Carry out dimensional check, NDT (UT/MT) and pressure test.
11. Packaging & Storage: Clean qualified products, package with anti-rust oil/film, store in dry warehouse.
