Copper nickel alloys are comprised of 2% to 30% nickel and have high oxidation resistance and stress corrosion cracking resistance. Their high oxidation resistance is seen in moist air and steam. These alloys are used in heat recovery and brine heater components in multistage flash plants and for evaporator tubes and finalheat recovery exchangers in multiple effect distillation plants.These alloys are also increasingly being applied in the power generation sector. In fossil fuel and nuclear power plants, materials that can perform sufficiently in heat transfer processes are in high demand. Components that require suitable materials include coolers, condensers, heat exchangers, valves, and pipework.

The Butt Welding Latrolet is the most common branch connection. It is made into a groove at the end and is connected to the straight pipe by butt welding, so it is considered a butt welding pipe fitting. The design of the Butt Welding Latrolet minimizes stress concentration and provides overall reinforcement. The Butt Welding Elbolet is used to provide branch connections on long radius elbows or short radius elbows. The connection with the branch pipe can be butt welding, socket welding and threaded connection.
