Product Description
Grade 904L stainless steel is a non-stabilized austenitic stainless steel with low carbon content. This high alloy stainless
steel is added with copper to improve its resistance to strong reducing acids, such as sulphuric acid. The steel is also resistant to stress corrosion cracking and crevice corrosion. Grade 904L is non-magnetic, and offers excellent formability, toughness and weldability.Grade 904L contains high amounts of expensive ingredients, such as molybdenum and nickel. Today, most of the applications that employ grade 904L are replaced by low-cost duplex stainless steel 2205.

Lap joint stub end is a kind of pipe fitting used with lap joint flange, which is mainly used in pipe connection systems and plays the role of auxiliary sealing and connection.
Main structure and functionStructural features: One end is a straight pipe section (used for welding and fixing with the pipe), and the other end is a flange-like lip. The flap part can be wrapped in a loose flange and connected to other pipes or equipment through the flange.Core function: After cooperating with the loose sleeve flange, the pipe is allowed to have a certain axial displacement and angular deviation, which is convenient for installation, disassembly and maintenance.
