Product Description
Grade 904L stainless steel is a non-stabilized austenitic stainless steel with low carbon content. This high alloy stainless
steel is added with copper to improve its resistance to strong reducing acids, such as sulphuric acid. The steel is also resistant to stress corrosion cracking and crevice corrosion. Grade 904L is non-magnetic, and offers excellent formability, toughness and weldability.Grade 904L contains high amounts of expensive ingredients, such as molybdenum and nickel. Today, most of the applications that employ grade 904L are replaced by low-cost duplex stainless steel 2205.

Threaded nipples are short tubular pipe fittings mainly used to connect pipes, valves, equipment and other components, serving to extend pipes, make connections with different diameters or facilitate installation and maintenance. Specifications: The diameter range is generally from 1/8" to 4", etc. The wall thickness includes STD, SCH 40, SCH 80 and other types. The length can be customized according to requirements. Thread types: Common ones include NPT, BSPP, BSPT, PF, PT, etc. Different thread types are suitable for different connection scenarios and equipment. Classification: Mainly there are single-ended threaded nipples and double-ended threaded nipples. Single-ended threaded nipples have threads on only one end, and the other end is flat or socketed, used to connect pipes that require threaded connections on one end; double-ended threaded nipples have threads on both ends and can be used to connect two pipes or equipment.
