Product Description
Grade 904L stainless steel is a non-stabilized austenitic stainless steel with low carbon content. This high alloy stainless steel is added with copper to improve its resistance to strong reducing acids, such as sulphuric acid. The steel is also resistant to stress corrosion cracking and crevice corrosion. Grade 904L is non-magnetic, and offers excellent formability, toughness and weldability.Grade 904L contains high amounts of expensive ingredients, such as molybdenum and nickel. Today, most of the applications that employ grade 904L are replaced by low-cost duplex stainless steel 2205.
The socketed welding outlet is a reinforcing type pipe fitting used for connecting branch pipes. Structural features: The main body of the socket weld branch pipe seat is made by forging. Its base is the same as that of the butt-weld branch pipe platform. The branch connection adopts socket weld connection, that is, the branch pipe is inserted into the socket opening of the branch pipe seat for welding.Specification parameters: The size range is generally 1/8" - 4" (DN6 - DN100), the pressure grades include 3000lbs, 6000lbs, etc. The production standards mainly include MSS SP-97, GB/T 19326, etc.Application fields: Widely used in petrochemical, power, aerospace, military industries and other departments and fields that require high pressure resistance and precise dimensions. Especially in high-pressure, high-temperature, large-diameter, thick-walled pipelines, it can replace traditional branch pipe connection types such as divergent three-way fittings and reinforcement plates.Installation advantages: It has the advantages of safety and reliability, cost reduction, simple construction, and improved medium flow path. The welding bevel is manufactured by the factory, which can save the processing time at the construction site, and the strengthened shape and weld overlay metal of itself can play the role of opening hole reinforcement.
