Product Description
Grade 904L stainless steel is a non-stabilized austenitic stainless steel with low carbon content. This high alloy stainless steel is added with copper to improve its resistance to strong reducing acids, such as sulphuric acid. The steel is also resistant to stress corrosion cracking and crevice corrosion. Grade 904L is non-magnetic, and offers excellent formability, toughness and weldability.Grade 904L contains high amounts of expensive ingredients, such as molybdenum and nickel. Today, most of the applications that employ grade 904L are replaced by low-cost duplex stainless steel 2205.
The threaded branch pipe seat is a reinforcing type pipe fitting used for connecting branch pipes. Structural features: The threaded branch pipe seat structure typically consists of the main pipe connection part, the branch pipe connection part, and the reinforcement structure. Its base is the same as that of the butt-welded branch pipe seat, and the branch connection adopts threaded connection without the need for welding.Application fields: It is mainly used in industrial pipeline systems. Branch interfaces are set on the main pipeline, and they are connected to the branch pipes through threaded connection. It is particularly suitable for harsh working conditions such as high pressure, high temperature, large diameter, and thick-walled pipelines.Thread standard: The thread is manufactured according to GB/T 12716 60° conical pipe thread (NPT). If the purchaser has requirements, other thread standards and forms can also be selected.
