S32760 Introduction

Stainless steel grade F55 has excellent corrosion resistance to a wide range of areas, especially resistance to pitting and

crevice corrosion in seawater and other chloride containing environments, with critical pitting temperature that is more than 50°C (122°F). This material is known to also have high strength and extended lifecycle. It is 10% lighter than grade 316 steel, ideal for sub-zero service, and more cost effective than nickel alloys. Stainless steel grade F55 can be easily machined and welded.

Three-way Elbow Introduction

The spherical three-way fitting, also known as the steering ball, is a special component used in pipeline systems. It is mainly used to replace the traditional pipe elbows and is widely applied in the pneumatic conveying systems of cement and raw materials. The spherical three-way fitting, with its advantages such as simple manufacturing, convenient installation, and good durability, has gradually become an important component in the pneumatic conveying systems of medium and large-sized cement plants. The spherical three-way fitting is not only applicable to the cement industry but also widely used in industries with severe pipe wear, such as steel mills and mineral processing plants. The material transportation in these industries often involves high wear and corrosion, and the spherical three-way fitting can effectively reduce pipe wear and extend service life. To improve the wear resistance of the spherical three-way fitting, the wear-resistant ceramic patch technology is usually adopted. This technology attaches high-hardness ceramic sheets to the inner surface of the spherical three-way fitting, significantly enhancing its anti-wear ability. The main technical indicators of the wear-resistant ceramic patch include: Al2O3 content ≥ 95%, volume density of 3.65 g/cm³, porosity ≤ 0.1%, hardness ≥ 88 HRA, temperature resistance up to 1700℃, compressive strength ≥ 560 MPa, and bending strength ≥ 300 MPa.
