S32760 Introduction

Stainless steel grade F55 has excellent corrosion resistance to a wide range of areas, especially resistance to pitting and
crevice corrosion in seawater and other chloride containing environments, with critical pitting temperature that is more than 50°C(122°F). This material is known to also have high strength and extended lifecycle. It is 10% lighter than grade 316 steel, ideal for sub-zero service, and more cost effective than nickel alloys. Stainless steel grade F55 can be easily machined and welded. The following datasheet provides an overview of stainless steel grade F55.

Threaded Cross Tee Introduction

Threaded tees are industrial pipe fittings manufactured through forging or casting. They feature a cross-shaped structure with internal/external threaded interfaces, used for four-way flow distribution of media in piping systems. Made of stainless steel, alloy steel, or copper, they conform to international standards such as GB/T12459 and ASME B16.9, and are available in sizes from DN6 to DN100 (seamless tees up to 24 inches/welded tees up to 80 inches). Some patented technologies optimize flow distribution through differentiated inner diameter designs, with a stepped inner diameter gradient between the inlet and three outlets, and a weld-free connection achieved via a tapered sealing gasket. Cast products have a standard wall thickness of 3mm and a compressive strength of 16MPa, while forged products, after hot pressing, can withstand higher pressure environments.

Heat Treatment (Optional)For threaded crosses used in high - pressure scenarios, heat treatment such as quenching and tempering is conducted. This step enhances the hardness, toughness and pressure resistance of the product and eliminates internal residual stresses from forging and machining. 5. Surface TreatmentCarry out surface treatments like galvanizing, nickel plating or black oxide coating. It can effectively prevent the product from rusting and corrosion and improve its appearance simultaneously. 6. Quality Inspection and PackagingInspect the dimensions, thread precision and surface quality of the finished product with professional instruments. Products that pass the inspection are sorted and packaged to prepare for delivery.
