S32760 Introduction
Stainless steel grade F55 has excellent corrosion resistance to a wide range of areas, especially resistance to pitting and
crevice corrosion in seawater and other chloride containing environments, with critical pitting temperature that is more than 50°C(122°F). This material is known to also have high strength and extended lifecycle. It is 10% lighter than grade 316 steel, ideal for sub-zero service, and more cost effective than nickel alloys. Stainless steel grade F55 can be easily machined and welded. The following datasheet provides an overview of stainless steel grade F55.

1. Raw Material Incoming- Inspect the chemical composition, mechanical properties and size of steel plates (such as SPHC-2.5)- Reject unqualified materials and return them to suppliers; transfer qualified materials to raw material warehouse for storage 2. Cutting- Move the steel plate to the cutting workshop, use hydraulic shears (QC12Y-12*2500) to cut according to the Cutting Process Card- Inspect the size of the cut material (e.g., 230×1250mm); rework or isolate unqualified products 3. Stamping- Transfer the material to the stamping production line, use a punch (JA21-160) and blanking die for blanking, and inspect the size (φ222±0.5mm)- Rework or scrap unqualified products 4. Deep Drawing- Use a hydraulic press (Y32-315) and drawing die for deep drawing forming and shaping of the cap 5. Machining- Perform thread processing, drilling and other precision machining operations on the semi-finished cap 6. Heat Treatment- Carry out quenching and tempering to improve the hardness and toughness of the threaded cap 7. Surface Treatment- Adopt processes such as galvanizing, passivation to enhance corrosion resistance 8. Final Inspection- Conduct a comprehensive inspection of the size, thread precision and surface quality of the finished product 9. Packaging & Shipping- Pack qualified products and deliver them to the warehouse for shipment
