A234 WPB Introduction
- Standard：ASTM A234 WPB, carbon/martensitic stainless steel butt-welding fittings for pressure systems.- Material Grades：Common grades: WPB, WPC, WPD, WPE, WPF, WP1, WP5, WP9, WP11, WP12, WP15, WP22, WP91, etc. (WPB most widely used).
- Chemical Composition：Mainly C, Mn, Si, P, S; alloy grades add Cr, Mo, V for enhanced performance.
- Mechanical Properties：Tensile strength ≥415MPa, yield strength ≥240MPa, elongation ≥22%, good toughness & weldability.
- Application：Used in oil, gas, petrochemical, power, water treatment industries; for 150-2500 class pressure fittings (elbows, tees, reducers), working temp -29℃~593℃.
- Key Features：High pressure resistance, corrosion resistance (alloy grades), stable performance, suitable for harsh working environments.
Galvanized Threaded Round Bar Introduction

Threaded Round Bar Processing
1. Raw Material Selection：Choose qualified bar stock (carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel) and inspect chemical composition & mechanical properties.
2. Cutting：Cut bar stock into fixed-length blanks by sawing machine or cutting machine.
3. Heating：Heat blanks to forging temperature (800-1100℃) in induction heating furnace.
4. Forging：Form blanks into bolt shape via cold forging (high-grade material) or hot forging, shaping bolt heads (if with heads) and adjusting shank size.
5. Thread Rolling：Process threads on both ends of blanks by thread rolling machine, ensuring thread precision and strength.
6. Heat Treatment：Carry out quenching and tempering to enhance hardness, toughness and tensile strength, meeting grade requirements (e.g., 8.8/10.9 grade).
7. Surface Treatment：Perform zinc plating, nickel plating, hot-dip galvanizing, passivation or black oxide to improve corrosion resistance and appearance.
8. Dimensional Inspection：Check thread specification, length, diameter, perpendicularity and surface quality with professional tools.
9. Mechanical Testing：Conduct tensile, hardness and torque tests to verify product performance.
10. Cleaning & Drying：Remove surface impurities, oil stains and treatment residues, then dry thoroughly.
11. Sorting & Packaging：Sort qualified products by specification, package with anti-rust materials and label details.
