1. Raw Material Preparation - Select corresponding metal materials (stainless steel, carbon steel, brass, etc.) based on product standards and application scenarios.
- Cut materials into blanks of specified sizes by sawing, shearing or cutting machines, and check blank size tolerance.
2. Forging/Forming
- Perform hot forging or cold heading on blanks to form the rough shape of union bodies, nuts and seats.
- Carry out shaping correction to ensure the basic structure of each component meets the preliminary dimensional requirements.
3. Precision Machining
- Union Body Machining: Turn the outer diameter, inner cavity, sealing surface and thread connection part; ensure the flatness of the sealing surface.
- Nut Machining: Process internal threads, torque-bearing surfaces and positioning steps by turning and tapping; verify thread matching accuracy.
- Seat Machining: Finish the sealing ring groove and contact surface through milling or turning to guarantee sealing performance.
4. Surface Treatment
- Remove burrs, sharp edges and machining residues of all components by deburring and polishing.
- Conduct anti-corrosion treatments as required: electroplating (galvanizing, nickel plating), passivation, pickling or spray coating.
5. Assembly
- Install sealing elements (rubber rings, PTFE gaskets) into the seat groove of the union body.
- Assemble the union body, nut and seat in sequence, and adjust the assembly clearance to ensure flexible and stable connection.
6. Quality Inspection
- Inspect the dimensions of each component (outer diameter, thread size, sealing surface flatness) with calipers, thread gauges and flatness testers.
- Perform pressure resistance and leakage tests on the assembled union fittings under specified working pressure.
- Check surface quality to eliminate products with defects such as cracks, pits and plating peeling.
7. Packaging and Storage
- Clean the qualified union fittings to remove oil stains and dust, and protect the threads with protective caps.
- Pack them in classified batches with anti-rust paper or plastic boxes, and label product specifications, pressure ratings and production batches.
- Store in a dry, ventilated warehouse, and avoid stacking heavy objects to prevent deformation of the fittings.
