A234 WPB Introduction
- Standard：ASTM A234 WPB, carbon/martensitic stainless steel butt-welding fittings for pressure systems. - Material Grades：Common grades: WPB, WPC, WPD, WPE, WPF, WP1, WP5, WP9, WP11, WP12, WP15, WP22, WP91, etc. (WPB most widely used).- Chemical Composition：Mainly C, Mn, Si, P, S; alloy grades add Cr, Mo, V for enhanced performance.- Mechanical Properties：Tensile strength ≥415MPa, yield strength ≥240MPa, elongation ≥22%, good toughness & weldability.- Application：Used in oil, gas, petrochemical, power, water treatment industries; for 150-2500 class pressure fittings(elbows,tees, reducers), working temp -29℃~593℃.- Key Features：High pressure resistance, corrosion resistance (alloy grades), stable performance, suitable for harsh working environments.

They are widely used in various material - handling scenarios, especially suitable for situations where vulcanized splicing is not feasible or quick belt maintenance is requiredFlexco.Core StructureThe system mainly consists of top and bottom fastener plates, hinge loops, rivets, and a connecting pin. The top and bottom plates are joined by wide hinge loops on one side. When installed, each pair of plates clamps the belt end, and rivets are driven through the plates and belt in a staggered pattern to secure the fastener to the belt. The hinge loops on the two belt ends interlock, and a connecting pin is inserted through the loops to complete the belt splicing.
