15-7PH Introduction

15-7PH, Product Name: 15-7PH (0Cr15Ni7Mo2Al), Product Characteristics: After heat treatment, it has higher hardness and better corrosion resistance. It is a precipitation hardening steel type with copper added. Product Usage: As springs, heat rings,instrument accessories, medical knives, and for oil drilling.

Lap Joint Stub End Introduction

The flanged nipple is a pipe end component with an overlapping edge made from the end of a steel pipe through rolling, stamping and other processes. It is used as the core component of a loose-threaded flange in conjunction with a carbon steel flange ring. Its materials include 304, 316L and other stainless steels and duplex steels, which are processed by hot rolling or free forging processes, and the surface needs to be sandblasted and other treatments. Structurally, corrosion resistance is enhanced through multi-layer composite design, such as the low carbon steel body in patented technology superimposed with a phosphorus iron layer and a boron oxide coating. This product complies with international standards such as GB/T12459 and ASME B16.9. Its nominal size covers the range of DN15 to DN600. It is widely used in corrosive medium transportation systems such as petrochemical industry and sewage treatment.

Jap Joint Stub End Produce Processing

1.Cutting
Cut pipe blanks according to specifications, inspect material, dimension and surface quality.

2.Turning
Machine outer diameter, inner diameter and end face to ensure matching dimensions.

3.Flanging (Key Process)
Heat the pipe end locally, then use press and die to form the standard flange face by outward flanging.

4.Shaping & Straightening
Calibrate flatness and roundness of the flange face while hot or at room temperature.

5.Finish Machining
Finish turn flange face, chamfer and sealing surface to meet ASME B16.9 or relevant standards.

6.Non-Destructive Testing
Perform Penetrant Testing (PT) or Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) to check cracks, laps and other defects.

7.Surface Treatment & Final Inspection
Clean, polish or apply anti-corrosion treatment; final inspection of dimensions, appearance and marking.
