Product Description
Stainless steel tees are pipe fittings used at pipe branches. For tees manufactured using seamless pipes, two common processes are hydraulic bulging and hot pressing. Hydraulic bulging of stainless steel tees is a forming process that uses axial compensation of the metal material to bulge out the branch pipe. The process involves using a specialized hydraulic press to inject liquid into a pipe blank with the same diameter as the tee. Two horizontal side cylinders of the hydraulic press move synchronously to compress the pipe blank. As the pipe blank is compressed, its volume decreases, and the pressure of the liquid inside increases. When the pressure reaches the level required for the branch pipe to bulge out, the metal material flows along the inner cavity of the mold under the combined action of the side cylinders and the liquid pressure inside the pipe blank, thus bulging out the branch pipe.
