2. Precision Forging and Forming: Key components such as the valve body, valve cover, and valve stem are formed using die forging or free forging to ensure a dense microstructure. Post-forging heat treatment eliminates stress and improves low-temperature toughness and strength.
3. Rough Machining: Forgings are rough turned and rough milled using CNC lathes and milling machines to remove excess material, machine the shape and installation datum, and reserve reasonable dimensions for finish machining.
4. Finish Machining and Key Processes: The valve body sealing surface, valve seat hole, valve stem guide surface, and long-neck valve cover inner cavity are finish machined. The valve stem and valve needle are ground to ensure coaxiality and surface finish. The dimensions of the extended valve cover are strictly controlled to ensure the insulation structure meets standards.
5. Parts Machining and Selection: Machining parts such as packing sleeves and thrust washers; selecting low-temperature resistant packing and seals; selecting handwheels and fasteners according to low-temperature operating requirements.
6. Assembly and Debugging: Assembling the valve stem, packing, spring, and actuator according to the process sequence; adjusting the packing preload to ensure smooth valve stem movement without jamming; verifying the opening and closing torque and adjustment accuracy to ensure reliable sealing.
7. Inspection and Testing: Conducting full dimensional inspection, pressure resistance testing, and sealing performance testing; performing non-destructive testing on key components; only qualified components can proceed to the next process.
8. Surface Treatment, Marking, and Packaging: Passivating or rust-proofing the valve body; engraving specifications, pressure, material, and low-temperature markings; cleaning, protecting, and packaging before warehousing.
