.Raw Material Melting & CastingSelect high-quality malleable cast iron raw materials, melt the iron ingots in an industrial furnace under constant temperature control. Pour the molten iron into prefabricated precision casting molds for integrated forming of the tee body, hinge rotating part and pipe sockets. After natural cooling, rough blanks are demolded, removing redundant casting gates and risers to obtain primary workpiece blanks.
.Shot Blasting Descaling & TrimmingAll casting blanks go through shot blasting treatment to eliminate surface oxidation scale, sand residues and casting burrs. Workers conduct manual trimming to polish sharp edges of inner holes, hinge joints and set screw bosses, ensuring smooth rotation of the swivel hinge and tight pipe fitting clearance.
.Machining & TappingPrecision lathes machine the inner bore of upper and lower sockets to standard pipe matching dimensions. Drill positioning holes on cylinder walls, then perform tapping for set screws. CNC machining strictly controls dimensional tolerances of inner diameter, hinge clearance and thread pitch to guarantee assembly consistency.
.Hot-Dip Galvanizing Anti-Corrosion TreatmentClean workpieces thoroughly to remove oil and impurities, then immerse them in high-temperature molten zinc for hot-dip galvanizing. A uniform, thick zinc coating forms on all surfaces including inner holes and hinge gaps, greatly improving rust and corrosion resistance for outdoor and humid working environments. Post-galvanizing excess zinc droplets are brushed off for a neat surface finish.
.Inspection, Assembly & PackagingConduct full inspection covering dimension accuracy, galvanizing integrity and hinge rotation flexibility; reject deformed, cracked or under-galvanized defective pieces. Install hinge pins for finished tees to test free angle rotation. Qualified products are sorted by specification, packed in cartons with moisture-proof packaging for storage and shipment.
