.Raw material cutting: Round steel bars (A105 carbon steel, 304/316L stainless steel bars) are used. The weight is calculated according to the flange specifications, and the bars are cut into blanks of the corresponding size by a saw.2.Heated forging: The bar stock is fed into a heating furnace and heated to the forging temperature; a hydraulic forging press is used for die forging to produce the basic shape of a necked flat-welded flange (disc + short neck prototype).
.Heat treatment (critical process): Carbon steel A105: Post-forging normalizing treatment to eliminate forging internal stress, improve metallographic structure, and increase toughness; Stainless steel 304/316L: Solution heat treatment to prevent intergranular corrosion.
.Rough turning: The inner and outer diameters, thickness, and inner hole are rough turned on a CNC lathe, leaving a finishing allowance, and the oxide scale and irregular surface layer of the forging are removed.
.Finishing (core forming process): Finish turning both end faces and the sealing surface (RF raised face), machining concentric water lines on the sealing surface; Finish turning the inner diameter of the flange neck (pipe fitting dimensions); Drilling on a drilling machine/machining center: uniformly machining bolt through holes; Chamfering and deburring.
.Steel stamp marking: Steel stamping shall be made in accordance with standard requirements: material, standard, specifications, pressure rating (Class 150/300, PN16, etc.), furnace batch number.
.Non-destructive testing: Magnetic particle inspection (MT) / Ultrasonic testing (UT) to detect internal defects such as cracks and delamination.
.Surface treatment: Stainless steel flanges: Polishing / pickling and passivation to prevent rust.
.Finished product full inspection + packaging: Dimension verification and visual inspection of sealing surfaces; after passing inspection, the product is sealed with plastic film and wooden crates to prevent damage to the sealing surfaces during transportation.
