Alloy 625 introduction
Super alloys are also referred to as high performance alloys. They can function at high temperatures and mechanical stress, and are formed in different shapes. They are strengthened by work hardening, solid-solution hardening, and precipitation hardening.There are three groups of alloys, namely cobalt-based, nickel-based, and iron-based super alloys.Altemp 625™ is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum wrought alloy. It has an ability to withstand stress-corrosion cracking and intergranular attack. The following sections with discuss about Altemp 625™ in detail.
Square Nut Introduction
Square Nut is a four‑sided threaded fastener nut, widely matched with bolts and studs for mechanical assembly. Made of Alloy 625 nickel‑based alloy material, it delivers excellent corrosion resistance, high‑temperature resistance and high tensile strength, suitable for harsh working conditions such as chemical industry, offshore engineering and petrochemical equipment.This series square nut covers thread size M2‑M20, standard right‑hand thread, manufactured in accordance with DIN 557 industry standard. The square shape provides larger contact surface and better anti‑slip performance during wrench tightening, easy for installation and disassembly. Custom sizes and special requirements are acceptable.

Square Nut Product Processing
1.Raw Material Preparation:Select qualified Alloy 625 nickel‑alloy round bar. Conduct material inspection including chemical composition and mechanical property test to guarantee raw material quality.
2.Cutting:Cut round bars into required blank size by sawing machine according to drawing specifications.
3.Hot / Cold Forging:Adopt cold forging or hot forging process to form square outer profile. For high‑strength Alloy 625 material, hot forging is commonly used to avoid cracking during forming.
4.Machining:Machine flat surfaces and end faces to achieve precise dimension tolerance.
5.Thread Tapping:Precision tapping for inner thread, ensure M2‑M20 thread meets ISO / DIN557 thread standard.
6.Deburring:Remove sharp burrs and edges.
7.Heat Treatment:Carry out solution heat treatment for Alloy 625 to obtain stable mechanical performance.
8.Inspection:Check thread size, dimension tolerance, surface appearance, hardness. Random sampling for material verification.
9.Packing:Anti‑rust treatment, packed by plastic bag & carton for export shipment.
