Stainless steel 304 introduction Stainless steel is an alloy steel based on iron and chromium, supplemented with alloying elements such as nickel, molybdenum, and manganese. The core principle is that chromium in the steel combines with oxygen to form a dense, stable chromium oxide passivation film on the material surface, isolating it from air and moisture and preventing the steel from rusting and corroding.304 stainless steel is an austenitic stainless steel and is the most widely used general-purpose stainless steel material.
Pan Head Tapping Screw Introduction
Pan head self-tapping screws are cross-recessed fasteners with sharp self-tapping threads that can cut internal threads directly into wood, plastic, gypsum board and thin metal plates without pre-tapped holes; available in 304 stainless steel (A2-50) or galvanized carbon steel (Grade 2), they feature a large pressure-bearing round head for firm locking and are extensively applied in furniture assembly, decoration construction, cabinet fitting, electrical enclosure fixing and general DIY installation.

1.Raw material drawing and straightening: Straighten the steel wire rod to ensure uniform diameter for subsequent stamping.
2.Cold heading:Mold the pan head, cross drive recess and screw shank integrally by cold forging.
3.Thread rolling:Roll out sharp self-tapping threads on the screw rod with thread rolling dies.
4.Deburring & cleaning:Remove sharp burrs, oil residue and metal scraps through vibration or ultrasonic cleaning.
5.Surface anti-corrosion treatment:Carbon steel: Electro-galvanizing for rust prevention.304 stainless steel: Polishing and passivation to improve corrosion resistance.
6.Full quality inspection:Check dimensions, thread integrity, head hardness and tapping performance one by one.
7.Sorting and packaging:Sort qualified screws by specifications, then count and pack for shipment.
