Alloy 20 Introduction
Alloy 20 is an austenitic stainless steel containing less than 50% iron and is used in applications involving sulfuric acid. Its
corrosion resistance also finds other applications in the chemical, petrochemical, power generation, and plastics industries.Alloy 20 exhibits superior resistance to pitting and chloride ion corrosion compared to 304 stainless steel and is comparable to 316L stainless steel. Its copper content protects it from sulfuric acid. Alloy 20 is typically selected to address the potentialstress corrosion cracking issues of 316L stainless steel.

Alloy 20 Forging Fitting Threaded Cap Introduction
Threaded cap, also known as threaded pipe cap, belongs to forged pipe fittings with internal thread for sealing and terminating the end of threaded pipes. Produced by hot forging process, this product features dense internal structure, high mechanical strength and outstanding pressure‑bearing capacity. Available materials include carbon steel A105, A350‑LF2, stainless steel 304,316, 316L, 904L, alloy steel A182‑F11, F22, F51, Hastelloy and other customized alloys, manufactured in accordance with ASME B16.11, MSS‑SP‑83 and relevant thread standards with pressure classes of 2000LB, 3000LB, 6000LB and 9000LB. With advantages of high strength, crack resistance, reliable sealing, optional anti‑corrosion surface finishes such as black paint, galvanization,oiling, pickling passivation and easy installation & maintenance, forged threaded caps are widely used for end‑closing of threaded pipelines in petrochemical, natural gas, power plant, refinery, water‑treatment, fire‑protection and other industrial piping systems under high‑temperature, high‑pressure or corrosive working conditions.

1.Raw Material Inspection & Cutting:
Verify material certificates and surface quality of steel bars. Cut qualified blanks to standard size and mark clearly to prevent material mixing.

Heat qualified blanks to standard temperature, and perform die forging to form integrated, dense and uniform threaded cap blanks.
3.Trimming & Heat Treatment:
Remove flashes and burrs of forged blanks. Conduct professional heat treatment to eliminate forging stress, stabilize microstructure and improve mechanical performance.
