Adopt high-grade carbon steel wire rods conforming to international fastener standards. Strictly inspect chemical composition, tensile strength and surface condition to exclude raw materials with cracks, rust and inclusions. Cut steel wire into fixed-length blanks according to required screw specifications to prepare semi-finished materials for subsequent cold heading.
2.Cold Heading & Head Forming:
Carry out precision multi-station cold heading process on steel blanks. Form the cylindrical head, inner hexagon socket and screw rod blank in one forming operation. Precisely control die pressure and forming speed to ensure complete inner hexagon shape, uniform head size and no internal cracking, laying the foundation for knurling and threading.
3.Knurling & Thread Rolling:
Perform knurling treatment on the outer circumference of the cylindrical head to form regular anti-slip knurled texture. Then conduct thread rolling process on the screw shank to create precise full threads. Strictly control thread pitch and diameter tolerance to guarantee smooth mating with matched nuts and stable clamping force.
4.Heat Treatment & Stress Relief:
Implement quenching and tempering heat treatment . Optimize internal metal grain structure, greatly improve tensile strength and wear resistance of the screw. Eliminate residual stress generated in cold forming and rolling processes to avoid cracking during service.
5.Deburring & Black Oxide Surface Treatment:
Remove sharp burrs on the head, hex socket and thread root. Complete degreasing and cleaning before black oxide treatment. Form a uniform black oxide conversion film on the surface to enhance lubrication performance and mild anti-corrosion ability, without changing the original dimensional accuracy of threads and hex socket. Conduct full quality inspection covering dimension check, hardness test, thread gauge verification and surface defect screening.
6.Sorting, Packaging & Warehousing:
Automatically sort qualified screws by different sizes and lengths. Use anti-rust paper and sealed packaging bags to protect threads and knurled surface from scratches. Attach standard labels with material grade, specification, production batch and inspection information. All finished products are stored in classified warehouses and delivered after final inspection.
