Adopt high-quality carbon steel raw materials conforming to international industrial standards. Strictly inspect chemical composition, mechanical strength and impurity content, reject raw materials with excessive slag inclusions and internal metallurgical defects. Melt qualified carbon steel ingots in the smelting furnace at precisely controlled temperature, then pour molten metal into precision casting molds to form the integral blank of pin fitting with ring body and integrated cylindrical pin. Precisely control pouring temperature, flow speed and cooling rate to minimize common casting defects such as porosity, shrinkage cavity and cold shut, ensuring the integrated structure of ring and pin is complete and free from hidden cracks.
2.Gate Removal & Shot Blasting:
Cut off casting gates, risers and excess flash from cast blanks by grinding equipment. Carry out shot blasting treatment with high-hardness steel pellets to thoroughly remove adhered molding sand, oxide scale and surface stains. This process relieves internal casting stress, strengthens the workpiece surface and obtains uniform base texture, preparing stable surface condition for subsequent precision machining and electroplating.
3.Precision Machining:
Perform CNC machining on the inner circular hole, mating surface and locking screw hole of the fitting. Strictly control the dimensional tolerance and roundness of the inner ring hole to ensure precise fit with matching pipes. Carry out tapping operation for the locking screw hole, inspect thread tooth profile, pitch and diameter by thread gauges one by one to ensure smooth screw assembly and reliable fastening performance after installation.
4.Deburring & Pre-Plating Pretreatment:
Remove sharp burrs and flash generated during casting and machining on the ring body, cylindrical pin and threaded hole by grinding and brushing. Conduct multi-stage industrial pretreatment including alkaline degreasing, water rinsing, acid pickling and pure water rinsing to fully remove cutting oil, rust and surface contaminants, achieving a clean and active metal surface without oil residue before plating.
5.Electroplating & Hot-Dip Zinc Composite Treatment:
Put the cleaned workpieces into electroplating baths first for electro-galvanizing, followed by hot-dip galvanizing process to achieve a total zinc coating thickness up to 80μm. The composite zinc layer forms dense protective coating on the component surface to provide outstanding rust resistance and corrosion resistance. After galvanizing, implement chromate passivation treatment to further improve anti-corrosion performance and enhance coating adhesion. Complete multiple pure water rinsing and low-temperature drying to avoid watermarks, residual plating liquid and coating discoloration.
6.Final Inspection & Packaging:
Conduct comprehensive quality inspection including dimension verification, zinc coating thickness test (target 80μm), surface appearance check and assembly matching test. Unqualified products with coating peeling, cracks or dimensional out-of-tolerance will be sorted out. Pack finished zinc plated pin fittings into moisture-proof plastic bags and export cartons with clear product specification labels, then deliver to warehouse for storage and shipment.
