Adopt qualified 316 stainless steel alloy raw materials. Strict incoming inspection is carried out to test chemical composition, including chromium, nickel and molybdenum content, as well as mechanical performance. Raw materials with impurities and component deviation are rejected. Melt the alloy in the furnace under precise temperature control to obtain homogeneous molten steel with stable metallographic structure.
2.Continuous Casting & Slab Preparation
Pour the molten steel into continuous casting machine to form solid stainless steel slabs. Control cooling speed to avoid internal cracks and segregation. Cut the slabs to required size, then remove surface oxide layer and defects through grinding, to ensure the slab surface is clean and flat for subsequent rolling process.
3. Hot Rolling Processing
Heat the qualified slab to the target rolling temperature. Conduct multi-pass hot rolling to reduce slab thickness gradually, forming the preliminary steel plate. Strictly control rolling pressure, temperature and speed to guarantee uniform thickness, flat plate shape and compact internal structure. After hot rolling, perform descaling to eliminate surface oxide scale.
4.Cold Rolling & Annealing
Carry out cold rolling for further thickness adjustment and surface optimization according to finished plate requirements. After cold rolling, conduct solution annealing heat treatment to restore ductility, eliminate internal stress and achieve stable austenitic structure. The annealing process ensures the plate obtains good toughness and corrosion resistance.
5.Surface Finishing & Precision Cutting
Perform surface finishing treatment to get different surface types such as 2B, NO.1, BA, HL and NO.4. Cut the steel plate to specified length and width with precision shearing or laser cutting. Trim edges and remove burrs, control dimensional tolerance to meet customer specification requirements.
6.Final Inspection & Packaging
Complete comprehensive quality inspection, including dimension measurement, surface visual check,
corrosion resistance test and mechanical property test. Label the qualified plates with material grade, size and batch number.Pack the finished 316 stainless steel plates with protective film and wooden cases to prevent scratches and deformation during storage and transportation.
