Use a series of drawing dies with gradually shrinking aperture for multi-pass cold drawing. Reasonably control the deformation rate of each pass to prevent wire breakage. Cold drawing reduces the copper rod diameter step by step, improves dimensional accuracy. Clean residual lubricant on the wire surface after each drawing pass to guarantee clean wire surface.
4.Annealing Treatment for Soft Temper:
Carry out protective atmosphere annealing after drawing to reach soft state. Heat the copper wire to the specified temperature, keep constant temperature for a period and cool slowly. This process eliminates internal stress caused by cold working, restores high ductility and low resistance, achieving soft bare copper wire performance.
5.Surface Finishing & Spooling:
Clean the annealed copper wire thoroughly to remove residual oil and slight oxidation. Straighten the wire body and inspect surface for scratches, pits and burrs. Wind the copper wire uniformly into coils according to customer required coil weight and inner diameter, keep neat winding without crossing and knotting.
6.Final Inspection & Packaging:
Perform full inspection on finished copper coil wire, including diameter tolerance, electrical conductivity, elongation, surface condition and batch sampling test. Mark qualified coils with material grade, wire diameter, batch number and specifications. Wrap with moisture-proof protective material, and store in dry environment for delivery.
