Load qualified C83600 bronze ingots into the induction melting furnace. Strictly control melting temperature and holding time to avoid overheating and oxidation. Perform degassing and slag removal treatment. Pour molten bronze into continuous casting mould to produce round cast billets, control casting speed and cooling rate to reduce internal shrinkage and segregation.
3.Homogenization Heat Treatment:
Transfer continuous casting billets to heat treatment furnace for homogenization annealing. Eliminate casting stress and uniform internal grain structure, improve the plasticity of billets for subsequent extrusion or drawing processing. Record furnace temperature, holding time and cooling curve.
4.Hot Extrusion / Cold Drawing Forming:
Process the homogenized billets by hot extrusion first to obtain preliminary round bar blanks. Then carry out multi-pass cold drawing with matching dies to gradually reach the target outer diameter. Control drawing speed and reduction per pass to prevent surface scratches, cracking and dimensional out-of-tolerance. Intermediate stress relief annealing will be arranged when work hardening is obvious.
5.Finishing & Full Inspection:
Straighten the formed round bars to control straightness tolerance. Remove burrs, oxide layers by polishing and turning. Carry out full inspection including dimension check, surface visual inspection, hardness test and ultrasonic flaw detection to check internal defects. Mark qualified bars with material grade, heat number and size.
6.Cleaning, Packaging & Shipment:
Clean the surface of qualified C83600 solid round bars to remove oil and dust. Wrap with anti-rust paper and plastic film, put into wooden cases with separation padding to avoid collision damage. Attach inspection report and shipping label before delivery.
