Introduction:Stainless steel Super Duplex 2507 is designed to handle highly corrosive conditions and situations were high strength is required. High molybdenum, chromium and nitrogen content in Super Duplex 2507 help the material withstand pitting and crevice corrosion. The material is also resistant to chloride stress corrosion cracking, to erosion corrosion, to corrosion fatigue, to general corrosion in acids. This alloy has good weldability and very high mechanical strength. Super Duplex stainless like Duplex, is a mixed microstructure of austenite and ferrite (50/50) which has improved strength over ferritic and austenitic steel grades. The main difference is that Super duplex has a higher Molybdenum and Chromium content which gives the material greater corrosion resistance. Super Duplex has the same benefits as its counterpart – it has lower production costs when compared with similar ferritic and austenitic grades and due to the materials increased tensile and yield strength, in many cases this gives the purchaser the welcomed option of purchasing smaller thicknesses without the need to compromise on quality and performance.Benefits of UNS32750 Super Duplex Stainless Steel* Improved corrosion resistance in comparison to Duplex* Greater tensile and yield strength* Good ductility and toughness* Good stress corrosion cracking resistance (SSC)* Opportunity for purchases to reduce their material costs without compromising on quality
Stainless Steel Plate Introduction:
Stainless Steel plates are flat steel products made by pouring molten steel, cooling, and then pressing it.They are flat and rectangular, and can be directly rolled or cut from wide steel strips.Steel plates are classified by thickness: thin steel plates <4 mm (thinnest 0.2 mm), medium-thick steel plates 4-60 mm, and extra-thick steel plates 60-115 mm.Steel plates are classified by rolling process: hot-rolled and cold-rolled.Thin plates have a width of 500-1500 mm; thick plates have a width of 600-3000 mm. Thin plates are classified by steel type: ordinary steel, high-quality steel, alloy steel, spring steel, stainless steel, tool steel, heat-resistant steel, bearing steel, silicon steel, and industrial pure iron thin plates, etc.; by professional application: plates for oil drums, plates for enamel, plates for bulletproof applications, etc.; and by surface coating: galvanized thin plates, tin-plated thin plates, lead-plated thin plates, plastic composite steel plates, etc.
