Product Description
A91050 Introduction
Aluminum 1050 has excellent corrosion resistance due to its high aluminum content (>99%). This makes it ideal for use in marine environments or other areas that are often exposed to moisture.
Additionally, the alloy has good heat treatment properties, maintaining its properties even when exposed to extreme temperatures for extended periods.

Semi-open impellers have a back-wall shroud that adds mechanical strength to the vanes, whilst remaining open on the other side.
They are somewhat of a middle ground between open and closed impellers in terms of efficiency and NPSHr, making them suited to medium sized pumps with a small amount of soft solids.
