1. Raw material selection and cutting: Select high-quality forged brass rods or stainless steel rods, inspect the raw materials for any sand holes or cracks, cut the raw materials according to the product dimensions, remove the surface oil and oxide scale, ensure the uniformity of the material texture, and prepare for forging.
2. High-temperature forging and shaping: Heat the blank to the appropriate temperature, place it in the special hexagonal forging mold, and shape it by pressing with a forging machine. Forge the hexagonal shape and the main body blank at one time, making the overall structure dense, improving the product's pressure resistance, and avoiding cracking in the later stage.
3. Machining and cutting: After the forging piece cools down, clamp it on the CNC lathe, machine the end face and chamfer, control the length and outer diameter size of the workpiece, reserve the processing allowance for the thread, and control the external dimensions within the tolerance range.
4. Internal and external thread processing: Use special taps and threading equipment to process the internal and external threads respectively, strictly follow the standard pitch for processing, clean the thread chips, and ensure smooth thread engagement.
5. Surface treatment and inspection: Perform deburring and cleaning, polish the stainless steel, and passivate the brass for rust prevention. Then, inspect the thread accuracy, wall thickness one by one, conduct pressure testing, and eliminate defective products. Qualified products are cleaned, sorted, and packed. The overall process is strictly controlled at each step. After forging, the internal structure is tight, and the joint's pressure-bearing capacity is stronger, the sealing effect is reliable, and it is widely used in pipe connections.
