Select 304, 316 and other stainless steel plates or round steel, and cut and shear the materials according to the flange specification dimensions to obtain flat blanks. Remove burrs and impurities to ensure the accuracy of the material size.
2. Forging and shaping
Heat the blank to a high temperature and then forge it into shape to make the metal structure more dense and improve strength and sealing performance. Small-diameter low-pressure flanges can also be formed directly from steel plates.
3. Rough machining
Carry out rough machining on the CNC lathe, turning the outer circle, end face, inner hole and the basic shape of the flange plate, leaving the allowance for fine machining to ensure the overall structure is regular.
4. Fine machining and drilling
Fine machine the sealing surface and welding bevels to ensure the dimensional accuracy and finish; drill bolt holes at the standard positions, remove burrs from the hole openings to facilitate subsequent assembly and sealing.
5. Acid washing and passivation
Perform acid washing and passivation treatment on the flange to remove oil stains and oxide scales, form a rust-proof protective film, enhance the corrosion resistance of stainless steel, and extend the service life.
6. Inspection and marking
Conduct appearance, size and sealing surface inspections, take samples for pressure tests to ensure there are no cracks or leaks. After passing the inspection, mark the material, pressure, specification, standard number, etc.
7. Packaging and storage
Clean and package for storage. The finished product is easy to weld and has good sealing performance, suitable for medium and low-pressure pipeline systems in industries such as chemical engineering, water supply and drainage, food, and HVAC.
