.Wire Rod PretreatmentPremium medium carbon steel wire rods are processed through pickling, phosphating and saponification successively to completely remove scale and rust on the steel surface. A lubricating protective film forms on the raw material to prevent scratches and cracks during cold heading, ensuring intact appearance and stable dimensions of finished bolts.
.Cold Heading FormingHigh-precision multi-station cold heading machines cut wire rods to fixed lengths and integrally forge standard hexagonal heads and half-thread smooth shanks. The cold heading process fully retains the metal flow lines of steel to improve the overall tensile and shear resistance of bolts. Hex heads feature neat outlines free of burrs and chipping.
.Precision Thread RollingThread rolling extrusion is conducted on bolt blanks to roll precise threads compliant with DIN931 and GB/T5782 standards. Threads have full and uniform profiles that fit nuts tightly to avoid thread slipping and loosening. Thread tolerances are strictly controlled for matching assembly with standard fasteners.
.Quenching & Tempering Heat TreatmentAll formed bolts undergo quenching followed by high-temperature tempering to eliminate internal processing stress, stably boosting hardness and comprehensive mechanical strength to meet Grade 8.8 / 10.9 / 12.9 high-strength standards, resisting deformation and fracture under heavy loads.
.Black Oxide Treatment & Finished Product InspectionHigh-temperature black oxide treatment creates a black anti-rust oxide layer on the surface to enhance wear resistance and basic anti-corrosion performance. Batch inspections including dimension measurement, hardness test, tensile test and full visual screening are carried out to eliminate defective products. Qualified bolts are sorted, packed and warehoused to guarantee consistent factory quality.
