Stainless steel 304 introduction
Stainless steel is an alloy steel based on iron and chromium, supplemented with alloying elements such as nickel, molybdenum, and manganese. The core principle is that chromium in the steel combines with oxygen to form a dense, stable chromium oxide passivation film on the material surface, isolating it from air and moisture and preventing the steel from rusting and corroding.304 stainless steel is an austenitic stainless steel and is the most widely used general-purpose stainless steel material.
Threaded Coupling Introduction
Threaded pipe clamps, also known as internal threaded straight pipes, pipe sleeves, or external couplings, are the most basic threaded pipe fittings in piping systems. They are cylindrical in shape with internal threads machined on the inner wall, and are used to connect two pipes with external threads to extend straight pipelines.The cylinder is machined with standard internal threads, and the ends of the two pipes are fitted with external threads and screwed into the pipe clamps. During assembly, Teflon tape and thread sealant are wrapped around the pipes to achieve a seal, eliminating the need for welding and making disassembly and assembly convenient.

Threaded Coupling Product Processing
1.Raw material warehousing inspection:Round steel bars enter the factory, check the material certificate (MTC), sample
spectrum/mechanical re-inspection; remove cracks and interlayer defects.

2.Sawing and cutting: Cut the bar stock to the specified length, flatten the end face, and leave a machining allowance.
3.Heated die forging: The billet is heated to the forging temperature (carbon steel ≈ 1150℃, stainless steel ≈ 1050℃), andextruded into a cylindrical blank by a hydraulic die forging machine; the flash is removed by punching.
4.Heat Treatment: Carbon steel A105 normalized; stainless steel solution treated to relieve forging stress and stabilize
microstructure.
5.Shot blasting: Removes oxide scale and surface oxide layer to facilitate subsequent machining and flaw detection.
6.Machining: Turn the outer diameter, end faces, and chamfer the inner and outer surfaces;Drill and bore the inner hole to ensure coaxiality of the threads at both ends;Tap the internal threads (NPT/Rc/G) on a CNC pipe threading lathe, controlling the thread profile and effective thread length;Deburr the hole opening.
7.Surface treatment: Carbon steel: Blackening/rust-preventive oil, electro-galvanizing; Stainless steel: Pickling + passivation.
8.Marking and labeling: Engraving specifications, materials, standards, and pressure ratings.
9.Finished product inspection: Visual inspection (PT penetrant testing), dimensional measurement, thread go/no-go gauge
inspection; water pressure and air tightness test as required.
10.Rust-proof packaging, warehousing and shipping.
