.Raw Material InspectionWe select qualified raw materials including carbon steel, 304 / 316 stainless‑steel bars. Each batch will go through material composition check, hardness test and surface defect inspection. Unqualified blanks are rejected before production to avoid hidden quality risks for finished fasteners.
.Cold HeadingRaw rods are cut to fixed length, then formed by multi‑station cold heading machines. This process shapes the standoff body, internal cavity and closed blind bottom. The one‑piece closed structure is critical to guarantee basic waterproof performance, and no crack or deformation is allowed on the sealed end.
.Thread TappingPrecision tapping is carried out to form standard internal threads (metric M3‑M12 or inch threads). Thread tolerance is strictly controlled to ensure good fit with mating screws. During tapping, cooling lubricant is used to reduce burrs and thread damage.
.Deburring & CleaningResidual burrs on edges, holes and sealing end are removed by vibration grinding. Parts are cleaned with industrial detergent to get rid of oil stain, metal chips and surface dirt, preparing for subsequent surface treatment.
.Surface TreatmentAccording to customer requirements, parts will be processed with zinc plating, nickel plating or passivation. Plating thickness is controlled within specified range to improve rust resistance, corrosion resistance and extend service life under humid or outdoor environment.
.Waterproof & Dimension InspectionFinished products are fully sampled for dimensional check, thread gauge test and sealing performance test. We check the closed‑end for leakage risk and test pull‑out strength. Non‑conforming items will be picked out.
.Packaging & DeliveryQualified waterproof standoff nuts are packed with anti‑rust packing materials. Labels with specification, material and batch information are attached. Goods are well sealed to prevent rust during ocean transportation before shipment.
