316L Introduce
Grade 316 is the standard molybdenum-bearing grade, second in importance to 304 amongst the austenitic stainless steels. The molybdenum gives 316 better overall corrosion resistant properties than Grade 304, particularly higher resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments.Grade 316L, the low carbon version of 316 and is immune from sensitization (grain boundary carbide precipitation). Thus it is extensively used in heavy gauge welded components (over about 6mm). There is commonly no appreciable price difference between 316 and 316L stainless steel.
The austenitic structure also gives these grades excellent toughness, even down to cryogenic temperatures.Compared to
chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steels, 316L stainless steel offers higher creep, stress to rupture and tensile strength at elevated temperatures.

Cryogenic Longneck Double Ferrule Needle ValveIntroduce
This cryogenic double ferrule needle valve is angle‑type 2‑way shut‑off valve, specially designed for low‑temperature working conditions down to ‑180℃. Adopts double ferrule compression connection, provides reliable leak‑tight sealing for instrument pipelines.Equipped with extended stem bonnet, it effectively isolates cold source, prevents frost condensation and ensures stable operation under cryogenic medium. The hand‑wheel manual operation enables precise flow adjustment and on‑off control.Manufactured from stainless steel, it features high pressure resistance, good low‑temperature toughness. Widely applied in liquefied gas, petrochemical, laboratory, cryogenic storage and instrument control systems.

Cryogenic Longneck Double Ferrule Needle Valve Product Processing
1.Raw Material Inspection:Stainless steel bar raw materials are incoming inspected, including material certificate verification, chemical composition and mechanical property testing to guarantee low‑temperature performance.
2.CNC Precision Machining:Valve body, extended bonnet, stem, ferrule and other key components are processed by CNC lathe & machining center. Strict dimensional tolerance control ensures fitting accuracy for double‑ferrule sealing structure.
3.Surface Treatment:Deburring, polishing and cleaning processes remove burrs, metal chips and oil contamination. Ensure clean inner cavity for cryogenic medium service.
4.Component Assembly:Assemble stem, packing, gland, extended bonnet and hand‑wheel in sequence. Adjust packing pre‑tightening force to avoid cold‑leak risk under ultra‑low temperature. Install double ferrule fitting sets.
5.Pressure & Sealing Test:Carry out shell hydraulic pressure test and seat gas tightness test at room temperature. Check external leakage and internal shut‑off performance. 100% testing for every finished valve.
6.Cryogenic Simulation Test (Sample Batch):Random samples perform cryogenic cycling test simulating‑196℃ working condition, verify sealing reliability after cold‑hot alternation.
7.Cleaning & Packing:Ultrasonic cleaning, blow dry with dry nitrogen. Anti‑rust protection and independent vacuum packaging to prevent moisture and impurity entering before delivery.
