Stainless steel 304 introduction
Stainless steel is an alloy steel based on iron and chromium, supplemented with alloying elements such as nickel, molybdenum, and manganese. The core principle is that chromium in the steel combines with oxygen to form a dense, stable chromium oxide passivation film on the material surface, isolating it from air and moisture and preventing the steel from rusting and corroding.304 stainless steel is an austenitic stainless steel and is the most widely used general-purpose stainless steel material.

Stainless steel wire mesh is woven from stainless steel wire including 304 and 316L. Available in plain weave, twill weave and dutch weave. It features corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance and stable mesh size. Widely used in filtration,screening, chemical, food, petroleum and plastic industries. Stainless Steel Wire Mesh Product Processing
1.Decoiling:Unwind original mesh rolls to flatten the stainless steel wire mesh for subsequent cutting and forming.
2.Cutting / Slitting:Cut whole rolls into sheets, strips, round discs, squares or irregular shapes as required. This is the most common processing for filter discs and mesh panels.
3.Bending & Folding:Fold mesh edges or bend into frames, troughs and other three-dimensional shapes for filter supports and protective covers.
4.Welding:Spot weld or seam weld mesh edges, mesh frames to make filter tubes, mesh baskets, welded filter assemblies.
5.Punching:Combine wire mesh with punching plates, or punch mounting holes on cut mesh pieces for easy installation.
6.Sintering (for sintered filter mesh):Multi-layer stainless steel mesh can be stacked and vacuum sintered to form sintered wire mesh filter elements for high precision filtration.
7.Finishing Treatment:Cleaning, degreasing, polishing, pickling and passivation to remove oil, burrs and oxidation for better corrosion resistance
