Heat steel blanks to standard forging temperature in industrial furnaces. Precisely control heating parameters to avoid overheating or underheating and ensure qualified metal fluidity for forming.
Apply precision die forging technology. Integrally form heated blanks with dedicated 90° and 45° elbow molds to ensure smooth arc, uniform wall thickness and dense internal structure.
5.Trimming and Shaping:
Remove forging flashes and excess materials, and correct minor deformation. Ensure standard bending radius, flat end face and regular overall dimension of elbows.
6.Heat Treatment:
Perform normalization and quenching & tempering for carbon steel elbows, and solution treatment for stainless steel elbows. Eliminate forging stress and improve mechanical performance and corrosion resistance.
7.Precision Machining:
Machine both ends to form standard socket welding holes and grooves. Strictly control aperture tolerance, groove depth and flatness to meet socket welding assembly requirements.
8.Surface Finishing:
Remove internal and external burrs, oxide scales, rust and oil stains. Polish surfaces to achieve smooth and defect-free appearance.
9.Dimensional Inspection:
Accurately detect elbow angle, caliber, wall thickness, bending radius and socket size. All dimensions conform to ASME B16.11 and GB/T 14383 tolerance standards.
10.Non-Destructive Testing:
Conduct ultrasonic and penetrant NDT to detect cracks, inclusions and other internal and surface defects, ensuring 100% qualified forging quality.
11.Marking and Warehousing:
Mark specifications, material grade, execution standard and heat number on qualified products.Complete anti-rust treatment and classified packaging before warehousing.
