Carbon Steel A105 introduction
Carbon Steel A105 introduction ASTM A105 (UNS K03504) is carbon steel for piping forgings. It works within temperature from -29℃ to 425℃ with excellent forgeability and weldability. Commonly manufactured into Threadolet, Sockolet, hex bushing and other socket & threaded fittings.Normalized A105N is available. Widely used in steam, oil and natural gas pipeline projects, complying with ASME B16.11,MSS SP-97standards.
Single Socket Tee Introduction
Single Socket Tee is one of the key‑clamp malleable iron pipe fittings, widely used for round tube frame assembly.
It features one full‑through socket for main pipe and one side socket for branch pipe, forming a 90‑degree T‑shape connection.Equipped with hexagon set‑screws, it clamps tightly on outer diameter of steel pipe without welding, threading or other extra processing.
Manufactured from malleable cast iron with hot‑dip galvanized surface treatment for excellent rust‑proof performance, fit for indoor and outdoor applications.It only fits for round steel tubes with specified outer diameter, customers shall select fitting size according to actual pipe OD.

Single Socket Tee Product Processing
1. Raw Material Casting:
Adopt high‑quality malleable iron raw material. Melt the raw material and pour into precision casting molds to form rough
blanks of single socket tee. The blank contains main socket, side branch socket and set‑screw boss positions.
2. High‑temperature Annealing:
Cast blanks go through strict annealing heat treatment. This step eliminates internal casting stress and improves the
toughness of malleable iron, preventing cracking under impact or load. It is an essential procedure for key‑clamp fittings.
3. Shot Blasting & Deburring:
Remove casting flash, burrs and surface oxide scale by shot blasting. Obtain uniform clean surface, prepare for subsequent machining and galvanizing.
4. Precision Machining:
* Machine inner bore of main socket and side socket to match outer diameter of round steel pipe, guarantee smooth pipe insertion.
* Tap threaded holes for hexagon set‑screws. Ensure set‑screws can be assembled and lock the pipe tightly.
* Remove residual machining chips.
5. Surface Treatment: Hot‑dip Galvanizing:
Immerse machined tees into molten zinc liquid for hot‑dip galvanizing. Form compact zinc coating for anti‑rust and
anti‑corrosion. For stainless‑steel version, perform pickling and passivation instead.
6. Strict Quality Inspection:
Inspect key dimensions, inner socket tolerance, thread quality, galvanized layer thickness, surface appearance. Reject
cracked, defective or unqualified pieces.
7. Packing & Delivery:
Qualified single socket tee fittings are packed in cartons, stacked on pallets, ready for shipment.
