Select premium carbon steel, stainless steel and alloy steel bar materials compliant with ASTM A182 standards. Inspect chemical composition, mechanical properties and surface quality to eliminate impurities and defects. Qualified raw materials are precisely cut into fixed-length blanks for standardized forging production.
2.Heating & Integral Die Forging:
Heat the blanks to the specified forging temperature with precise parameter control. Adopt professional closed-die forging technology to integrally form the saddle base, reinforced body and 45° inclined branch structure. Ensure dense internal metal structure, uniform wall thickness and complete integral reinforcement performance for oblique branching.
3.Trimming, Straightening & Heat Treatment:
Remove forging flashes and excess materials, and correct minor forming deformation to guarantee regular overall dimension. Conduct targeted heat treatment, including stress relief annealing for carbon steel and solution treatment for stainless steel, to eliminate forging residual stress, enhance structural stability and improve corrosion resistance.
4.Precision Machining & Thread Processing:
Precisely machine the saddle surface to perfectly fit the outer curvature of the main pipe. Finish the 45° oblique branch hole, and machine standard NPT, BSPT or BSPP internal threads strictly according to industry standards to ensure accurate thread tolerance and reliable threaded connection.
5.Surface Finishing & Quality Testing:
Remove internal and external burrs, oxide scales and surface stains. Implement full dimensional inspection for oblique angle, size and wall thickness, together with visual inspection and nondestructive testing to ensure no structural defects and full compliance with standard requirements.
6.Marking, Anti-rust Treatment & Warehousing:
Mark qualified threaded latrolets with material grade, specifications, execution standard and heat number. Complete professional anti-rust treatment and standardized packaging before classified warehousing and delivery.
