Alloy 20 is an austenitic stainless steel containing less than 50% iron and is used in applications involving sulfuric acid. Its
corrosion resistance also finds other applications in the chemical, petrochemical, power generation, and plastics industries.Alloy 20 exhibits superior resistance to pitting and chloride ion corrosion compared to 304 stainless steel and is comparable to 316L stainless steel. Its copper content protects it from sulfuric acid. Alloy 20 is typically selected to address the potential stress corrosion cracking issues of 316L stainless steel.

1.Raw Material Inspection & Blanking:
Select high-quality carbon steel, stainless steel and alloy steel bars complying with ASTM A182 standards. Strictly inspect chemical composition, mechanical properties and surface condition to rule out cracks,inclusions and other defects. Qualified raw materials are precisely cut into fixed-length blanks for standardized forging production.
2.Heating & Closed Die Forging:
Heat the blanks to the specified forging temperature with precise parameter control. Adopt integral closed-die forging to form the saddle base, reinforced main body and standard 45° oblique branch structure. The forged workpiece owns dense internal grain, uniform wall thickness and stable integral reinforcement performance, adapting to high-pressure oblique branch working conditions.

Remove forging flashes and redundant materials, and correct minor forming deformation to ensure overall dimensional accuracy.
