Alloy 316 Introduction
Alloy 316 is chrome-nickel austenitic alloy. It also contains molybdenum which increases general corrosion resistance, improves resistance to pitting from chloride ion solutions, and provides increased strength at high temperatures. Alloy 316 also provide excellent fabricability and formability. It is also called Marine Grade Stainless Steel.

Threaded Flange is a high-performance forged pipe connection flange designed for non-weld pipeline assembly. Different from welding-type flanges, it adopts precision internal thread structure at the center bore to realize threaded connection with matching pipes, eliminating the need for welding operation. This unique design enables fast installation, convenient disassembly and easy maintenance, making it ideal for pipelines where welding is not allowed or confined spaces. Manufactured from premium carbon steel, stainless steel and alloy steel complying with ASME B16.5 and ASTM standards, threaded flanges feature high structural rigidity, accurate thread tolerance and reliable sealing performance. 1.Raw Material Inspection & Blanking:
Adopt high-quality carbon steel, stainless steel and alloy steel round bars that meet ASTM and ASME standard specifications. Strictly inspect chemical composition, mechanical properties and surface quality to exclude cracks, inclusions and other internal and surface defects. Qualified raw materials are precisely cut into fixed-length standard blanks for flange forging production.
2.Heating & Closed Die Forging:
The qualified blanks are evenly heated to standard forging temperature with precise temperature control. Closed-die forging technology is applied to integrally form the flange disc, sealing surface and central bore structure. The forged workpiece features dense internal grain, uniform wall thickness and stable mechanical performance,laying a solid foundation for subsequent thread processing and high-pressure connection.

Remove forging flashes and redundant materials, and straighten the workpiece to eliminate forming deformation and ensure flat and regular flange overall shape. Conduct targeted heat treatment including stress relief annealing, normalizing and solution treatment according to different materials, effectively eliminating forging residual stress and improving structural stability and corrosion resistance.

Perform precision turning on flange end face, sealing surface and inner hole.Process standard internal threads such as NPT and BSPT strictly in accordance with industry standards, with precise control of thread tolerance, smoothness and engagement accuracy to ensure tight and reliable threaded connection without leakage.
