A threaded cap (also known as a screw cap) is a protective fastener featuring internal helical threads; it screws onto the external male threads of pipes, containers, or assemblies to create a secure, leak-proof seal.
Design and Function—Helical Threads: Features internal threads that match the external threads of the mating component.
Tight Seal: Blocks liquids, gases, and air, preventing pressure loss.
Ease of Use: Can be tightened by hand or with tools and easily removed when necessary.
Metal Construction: Manufactured from durable stainless steel (such as 304 or 316) or forged steel, suitable for heavy industrial applications.
Automotive Sector: Protects fuel lines, fluid connections, and engine components from contaminants.
Packaging Sector: Ensures the secure sealing and storage of consumer goods, chemicals, and liquids.

1.Forging:Heat billet and forge to form the rough cap shape.
2.Heat treatment (on demand):Normalizing /annealing to remove forging stress.
3.Rough machining:Turn outer circle, end face, bore inner hole.
4.Thread machining:Machine internal thread (NPT / BSPT / BSPP) by CNC lathe.
5.Deburring:Remove burrs on threads and edges.
6.Inspection:Check dimension, thread with go/no-go gauge, visual inspection.
7.Surface treatment:Carbon steel: galvanized /black oxide; Stainless steel: pickling & passivation.
8.Marking:Mark material, size, pressure class, standard.
