A Socket Weld Cap, also known as a socket weld end cap, is a high-pressure pipe sealing component manufactured using round steel or steel ingots through die-forging and lathe precision machining. It is applied in industrial piping systems to achieve permanent sealing and blocking of pipe end openings, effectively preventing medium leakage and external debris from entering the pipeline.It features a single-ended socket structure, which adopts a socket weld connection form. Pipes can be directly inserted into the reserved socket of the cap, and the joint is firmly fixed and hermetically sealed by peripheral fillet welding. It is primarily used in high-pressure industrial fields such as petrochemicals, power generation, natural gas transmission, shipbuilding, and precision instrument piping. Its manufacturing process adopts integral die-forging and finish machining, which ensures high structural density and pressure resistance.Forged Socket Weld Caps are available in a single conventional sealing structure.
