1.Raw Material Selection & Inspection:
High‑quality stainless steel bars or forgings of grade 304 are selected as raw materials. Each batch is inspected by XRF spectrometer to verify chemical composition, to make sure material fully complies with ASTM standards. Unqualified raw materials will be rejected before entering production.
2.Forging & Rough Machining:
The qualified material is forged under high temperature to obtain solid flange blanks. Forging improves internal metal density and mechanical strength. After forging, rough turning is carried out to preliminarily shape the outer diameter, thickness and face of the flange blank.
3.Precision CNC Machining:
CNC lathe and machining center are applied for precision processing. Key dimensions including flange outer diameter, bolt hole circle, thickness, and threaded bore are strictly machined according to drawing requirements. The internal thread is processed with high precision to guarantee tight pipe‑thread connection.
4.Heat Treatment:
Solution annealing treatment is performed for stainless steel threaded flanges. This process eliminates internal stress generated from forging and machining, restores corrosion resistance and ductility of 304 stainless steel, and stabilizes overall mechanical performance.
5.Surface Treatment & Full Inspection:
The flange surface is ground to remove burrs and machining marks. Dimensional inspection, thread‑gauge checking and visual inspection are implemented. We check thread integrity, flatness of sealing face and surface defects. All defective products are excluded.
6.Marking, Packaging & Delivery:
Qualified threaded flanges are permanently marked with material grade, size, standard and heat number. Products are packed with anti‑rust paper and put into wooden cases to avoid scratch and corrosion during ocean transportation, ready for shipment.
