Hexagon nipple is a forged threaded straight pipe fitting with male threads on both ends and a hexagonal gripping section in the middle. It is used for straight connection and communication between two internal threaded components in piping systems. Manufactured from nickel alloy and produced in accordance with standards such as ASME B16.11, it supports various standard pipe threads and can satisfy sealing and connection requirements under high-pressure working conditions.

The hexagonal structure is the core design advantage of this product. It can effectively prevent slipping during assembly and disassembly, evenly distribute tightening torque, avoid skewed thread stress and thread damage, ensure tight thread engagement and reliable sealing. 1. Raw Material Inspection

Carry out material verification, spectrum test and visual inspection on nickel alloy billets. Confirm no cracks, inclusions or defects, and record inspection data.

2. Cutting

Cut the billet to required length with cutting equipment. Ensure flat end face and proper machining allowance.

3. Heating and Forging

Heat billets in temperature-controlled furnace. Form the hexagon section by closed die forging, then cool the blank following specified procedure to release stress.

4. Blank Inspection

Check forged shape and hexagon profile, screen out blanks with cracks, shortage or deformation.

5. Sandblasting

Remove oxide scale and forging contaminants by sandblasting for cleaner surface.

6. CNC Machining

Finish turning on CNC lathe, machine external threads on both ends, strictly control thread form, taper and dimensional tolerance.

7. Thread Inspection

Test threads one by one with thread ring gauges to guarantee precision and interchangeability.

8. Hydrostatic & Pneumatic Test

Conduct pressure test according to pressure class, hold pressure and check for leakage.

9. Surface Finishing

Remove chips, oil and burrs for smooth surface.

10. Final Inspection and Marking

Recheck all dimensions and appearance. Mark specification and standard on qualified fittings.

11. Packaging and Warehousing

Protect threads, pack separately and put into storage.
