Threaded pipe nipple is a forged straight threaded fitting, made as a short pipe segment with external threads on the ends. It is used for straight connection of pipelines, pipeline extension, and assembly connection with valves, instruments and other internally threaded fittings. Manufactured from nickel alloy and produced in accordance with international standards such as ASME B16.11, it supports mainstream pipe thread standards including NPT and BSP, and meets sealing and connection requirements under highpressure working conditions.

This fitting features a simple and compact structure with easy installation. Sealing is achieved by thread engagement without welding, which facilitates disassembly and maintenance. 1. Raw Material Inspection

Verify nickel alloy bar stock by spectrum test and visual inspection. Check for cracks, laminations and inclusions, confirm dimensions and keep inspection records.

2. Cutting

Cut the raw material according to finished length requirements, ensure flat end faces and proper machining allowance.

3. Blank Forming

Produce blanks by forging or precision turning as required, control outer dimensions and prevent deformation and material shortage.

4. Blank Re-inspection

Check blank shape and wall thickness, separate non-conforming parts with forging defects or out-of-tolerance dimensions.

5. Sandblasting

Remove oxide scale and oil contaminants by sandblasting to prepare clean surface for precision machining.

6. CNC Machining

Finish turning of outer diameter and end faces, machine external threads on both ends, strictly control thread form, taper and dimensional tolerance.

7. Thread Inspection

Test threads one by one with thread ring gauges to ensure thread accuracy and interchangeability.

8. Hydrostatic & Pneumatic Test

Carry out pressure test per specified pressure class, hold pressure and check for leakage on fitting body and threads.

9. Deburring and Surface Cleaning

Remove metal chips, oil and burrs to achieve smooth surface.

10. Final Inspection and Marking

Recheck all dimensions and appearance. Mark specifications and standards on qualified fittings.

11. Packaging and Warehousing

Protect threaded areas, pack separately and put into storage.
