HASTELLOY(r) C276 is a wrought corrosion-resistant alloy that resists the development of grain boundary precipitates that degrade corrosion resistance.

Threaded Lateral Olet is a forged reinforced lateral branch fitting to MSS SP-97, with 45° angled branch outlet and integral reinforced root.

The outlet bore is machined with internal tapered pipe thread for mechanical sealing by thread engagement. No onsite welding is required, enabling fast installation and easy disassembly for maintenance.

Constructed from nickel alloy with good corrosion resistance, it is commonly used for instrument impulse lines, drain ports and temporary connections under moderate pressure. Thread profile creates turbulence inside the bore. Its pressure and fatigue rating is lower than socket weld and butt weld types. It is not suitable for severe cyclic loading or highly toxic hazardous fluid service. Thread sealant or PTFE tape is normally applied for sealing, preferred for small bore quick-connect lateral take-offs.
