316L Introduce
Grade 316 is the standard molybdenum-bearing grade, second in importance to 304 amongst the austenitic stainless steels. The molybdenum gives 316 better overall corrosion resistant properties than Grade 304, particularly higher resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments.Grade 316L, the low carbon version of 316 and is immune from sensitization (grain boundary carbide precipitation). Thus it is extensively used in heavy gauge welded components (over about 6mm). There is commonly no appreciable price difference between 316 and 316L stainless steel.
The austenitic structure also gives these grades excellent toughness, even down to cryogenic temperatures.
Compared to chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steels, 316L stainless steel offers higher creep, stress to rupture and tensile strength at elevated temperatures.
316L Gas Cylinder Angle Valve Introduce
The angle valve of the gas cylinder is a special control component for liquefied petroleum gas cylinders. It is named so because the inlet and outlet gas channels form a 90° right angle. It is the core safety component for gas supply and filling of the cylinder, and it complies with the national standard GB 7512 of Jinchang City People's... 。 The valve body is mostly made of forged brass, which is corrosion-resistant and pressure-resistant. It consists of a handwheel, valve stem, valve core, sealing gasket, and valve body. The intake pipe is connected to the steel cylinder by a threaded connection, while the outlet pipe is connected to the pressure reducing valve with a left-handed thread.The operation is controlled by rotating the handwheel: clockwise rotation tightens the gas source, and counterclockwise rotation opens the gas supply. The new self-closing angle valve is equipped with an overcurrent self-closing device. When the hose falls off, it automatically cuts off the gas supply, significantly reducing the risk of leakage and explosion. It gradually replaces the old angle valves without safety structures.The product has a rated pressure of 2.5 MPa and is suitable for a temperature range of -40°C to 60°C. All products undergo airtightness and high-pressure testing upon leaving the factory. Some models are equipped with fusible safety plugs. In case of over-temperature or over-pressure, it automatically releases pressure to prevent explosion.It has multiple functions such as filling, gas cutoff, and safety protection. It is widely compatible with 5kg and 15kg household and commercial liquefied gas steel cylinders. During use, regular inspection of the seal is required. If there is gas leakage or jamming, it should be immediately stopped and replaced. It is an indispensable safety component for gas usage.

1. Material Selection
Common Materials: Valves are typically forged or machined from 316 Stainless Steel, Brass, Carbon Steel, or specialty alloys(e.g., Monel or Hastelloy) depending on the corrosive environment.
Raw Stock: Uses bar stock for smaller valves or hot-forged billets for larger, high-pressure bodies to improve structural
strength.
Common Materials: Valves are typically forged or machined from 316 Stainless Steel, Brass, Carbon Steel, or specialty alloys(e.g., Monel or Hastelloy) depending on the corrosive environment.

2. Valve Body Processing
Hot/Cold Forging: Metal is heated and compressed into a rough valve body shape. This aligns the metal grain, increasing the body's durability against high pressures.
CNC Machining: Using 5-axis CNC machines, the rough body is drilled and bored to create the primary fluid pathways.
Threading & Tapping: Threads are precision-cut into the valve bonnet and body to accommodate the stem and handle assembly
3. Needle and Seat Processing
Turning: The tapered, needle-shaped plunger (the plug) is precision-lathed to a highly exact conical angle.
CNC Machining: Using 5-axis CNC machines, the rough body is drilled and bored to create the primary fluid pathways.
Threading & Tapping: Threads are precision-cut into the valve bonnet and body to accommodate the stem and handle assembly
3. Needle and Seat Processing
Turning: The tapered, needle-shaped plunger (the plug) is precision-lathed to a highly exact conical angle.
Seat Creation: The mating seat is bored at an angle perfectly complementary to the needle.
Grinding & Lapping: The needle and seat must create a bubble-tight, metal-to-metal seal. Abrasive lapping compounds are used to rub the needle and seat together, resulting in perfectly matched, leak-proof surfaces.
4. Surface Treatment
Passivation / Electropolishing: Stainless steel valves undergo acid baths to remove surface contaminants and improve corrosion resistance.
Coating: In some high-precision manufacturing processes, the tapered end of the needle may be plated with a softer metal (like tin) to allow it to "seat" perfectly during the initial closure.
5. Assembly and Quality Control
Packing & Gaskets: Internals like PTFE (Teflon) or graphite gland packing are inserted to seal the stem and prevent external fluid or gas leaks.
Pressure Testing: Valves are mounted on testing rigs and subjected to high-pressure nitrogen or hydrostatic testing to ensure zero leaks through the seat and the packing
