1. Mold & Wax InjectionMake precision molds according to product size. Inject melted wax into the mold to form standard wax patterns of coupling. Repair and polish wax surfaces to ensure dimensional accuracy and smoothness.
2. Shell Making (Investment Casting)Repeat dipping the wax pattern into refractory slurry and sprinkling refractory sand. Build a multi-layer high-strength ceramic shell. Dry the shell completely in a constant temperature and humidity room.
3. Dewax & RoastingPut the shell into a dewaxing kettle to melt and discharge wax, forming a hollow cavity. Roast the shell at high temperature to remove moisture and residual wax, and enhance shell hardness and stability.
4. Casting & SolidificationSmelt 316L stainless steel material and perform composition testing. Pour molten steel into the preheated ceramic shell under controlled temperature. Cool naturally to form casting blank of the coupling.
5. Shell Removal & CuttingCrush and remove the ceramic shell. Clean the casting surface by sand blasting or shot blasting. Cut and remove feeding ports, then grind and trim the blank.
6. Machining & ThreadingFix the blank on CNC lathe. Machine both ends and process internal threads (NPT/BSPT/BSPP) to meet standard requirements. Control thread accuracy and fitting performance.
7. Surface Treatment & InspectionCarry out pickling and passivation to improve corrosion resistance. Conduct visual inspection, dimensional check, thread gauge detection and pressure test. Package qualified products for delivery.
